Quietly situated in beautiful wooded surroundings, the hotel is surrounded by a network of cycle, bridle and footpaths, for nature-lovers to enjoy.

Close by to a number of historic and cultural sights, the hotel is located only 5km away from the town of Genk and the city of Maastricht.

Also the shopping Village Maasmechelen is only a 15 minute drive.

Safe accomodation for horses can be arranged.

The 20 comfortable rooms are fully fitted to house all modern conveniences, to make your stay as relaxing as possible. The elegant reception room is the heart of the hotel, where friendly staff can always be found and are happy to help.

National Park, Hoge Kempen: A unique Park, especially for pedestrians, nordic walking, biking, horse riding and other soft recreation.

Biking network: More then 500 km of especially designed bikepaths. It will show you the most interesting places in the region. Bikes for hire at the hotel.

Also nearby are:
Genk (5km) - historic town with many attractions including Bokrijk, an open air museum consisting of reconstructed 19th century buildings from all over Flanders.

Maastricht (5km) - First with Medieval city rights, a system which evolved to the current system, giving the city historical and cultural importance. With a variety of museums, the caves of Mount St Pieter, opportunities to cruise on the Maas and visit Park Vaeshartels Castle's gardens, there are endless activities in this nearby city.

This is not a hotel, it's a simple house, should not be in the site as a hotel. The staff doesn't speak english neither french, and keeps talking in flamish all the time, even after I've said I didn't speak that language. I didn't find anything that was described as the hotel features, like pool and etc. Don't let yourself be seduced by words, it's just a very simple house. Even Etap is better!!

De gezelligheid van de eigenaren van het hotel. Heel erg behulpzaam. Je voelt je er meteen thuis. Hier komen we zeker terug!!

Chambre spacieuse

chambre froide à notre arrivée (19h30) mais le chauffage a été mis ensuite.Noter qu'il n'y a plus de possibilité d'y amener des chevaux. Aucun prospectus touristique en français.
