Situated close to the famous Market Square and the main shopping streets, the hotel is an elegant 17th century listed building which has retained much of its original charm.

Originally built in 1602, the hotel was recently restored and renovated and now offers a unique combination of old-world charm and modern comforts. The hotel is ideally situated in a quiet part of Bruges, only 200 metres from the major tourist attractions.

Whilst you are staying here, the friendly staff aim to help with any query you may have.

Hotel will be totally non-smoking from the 1st of January 2008.

The historic centre of Bruges was named as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2000. This is due to the historic and cultural importance of the city, reflected in it's gothic architecture.

- Onze Lieve Vrouwekerk (Church of Our Lady): The brick spire, standing at 122 metres, is Europe's highest brick tower/building.

- Belfort: Housing a municipal Carillion of 47 bells, the city still employs a full-time bell ringer, who regularly puts on free concerts.

- Sint-Salvator Cathedral: Founded in the 10th century, the cathedral houses many pieces of original art work.

a super hotel with great staff, close to town centre but not lost in the noise. stayed 2 nights and wished it had been longer. great value and will be coming back for a longer stay next year

Excellent location, comfortable room, on site parking and friendly, efficient staff.

Getting to our room was a bit tricky with a pushchair due to three sets of stairs (one without a lift nearby).

Location, included breakfast buffet with large selection.

Parking was full so we had to park in the parking garage. Fortunately this was very close to the hotel and even cheaper.

The hotel was very central, the staff extremely helpfull and welcoming (especially the staff at the hotel bar), the garden terrace was idyllic, the swimming pool was a good extra.

The dar brown décor in the room made it look dated (1970s) even if it was quite new.

Staff were very pleasant.

Our first room was horrible, small and cramped. We were moved to another larger room, however, it was at the front of the hotel and the noise from the street below was non ending. Linens were old and scratchy, very poor quality.
