Reservations for the private parking during the weekend are only possible for at least 2 nights. Otherwise your car can be parked in the public parking "Zilverpand". Reservations are not possible for this parking.

The hotel is very well located, close to main attractions (walking distance), the facilities offered were as expacted for such a hotel (I was afraid that the rooms are not heated enough but our room was great) and last but not least the building in itself is very nice - puts you in a "holiday" mood. Funny parrot in the lobby :)

When I made my booking, breakfast wasn't included. Upon checking your website the week before travelling, the rate quoted (the same price) did include breakfast. This is the 3rd time that we have stayed at this hotel and the first time that this has happened and whilst I'm not about to make a fuss over this issue, it certainly isn't an ideal situation.

The warm welcome, the Junior Suite, ground floor access, pool and sauna

During winter the rooms are heated well but quite stuffy - difficult to breathe at points during the night without opening a window

The location and the continental breakfast

There was an awful smell in the lavatory and bathroom which smelt of sewage from the canals. The tv was not working and the decor was dated

We booked for 4 nights and then had extra night as there was a transport strike and could not return to Brussels on the Mon. The hotel upgraded us for whole stay although we had booked a standard room we got a suite with a two ring cooker and fridge with enough plates and cutlery for 3. This was excellent value for the money and made the stay more enjoyable.

The price of breakfast so we did not take it.

When staff were found they were very helpful and good central location

staff were difficult to find at times e.g. for bar orders etc, pool was a bit cold and sauna took a while to warn up.

The duplex room

The cleaning needs to be improved - especially on the patio/balconey areas

The location

The parking was apparently not available to us, even though we had booked 3 rooms and had one car. The main reason I picked the hotel was its on site parking. The staff was incredibly rude. The furniture, blankets and shower curtain were old, tired and disgusting.

Quite, clean and spacious room

We had two single beds instead of one matrimonial bed. Unfortunately the two beds separated with every move, which was rather awkward

Their car parking policy of only being available for guests who stay for a minimum of two nights.
