Renovated, charming hotel, situated in a quiet street in the town centre. With only 25 rooms the staff aim to offer you a personal and friendly stay.

Within 100 meters of the hotel you will find the casino, the major shopping streets, the beach and promenade, museums and the famous Leopold park.

Those expecting to arrive late are asked to please inform the hotel after you received your confirmation.

Food & beverage

Although we do not have a restaurant, you can have some light meals in our bar (until midnight).
Our breakfast buffet is very extensive. It has a hot section with egg dishes with bacon, and a cold section with various cheese and meat products. At least 4 sorts of bread, croissants and an assortment of butter biscuits (Danish pastries). Besides this you will also find fresh yogurt, fresh fruit salads, fresh fruit juices, marmalades and chocolate milk. Hot drinks are being served.

Room information

All rooms are individually decorated with antique/romantic furniture. The rooms are equipped with LCD-flat screen large chairs and. Our bathrooms have a bath and/or shower, toilet, a washbasin, make-up mirror and even face cloths.

Please note that all rooms (including breakfast room) are non-smoking.

Area information

The beach and the city centre with its many museums are just a short walk away from the hotel.

The hotel is also perfectly situated to visit the whole of the Belgian coast, while the French and Dutch boarders are just a 35 km drive away.

It was clean, comfortable, the staff and the breakfast were very good.

The shower, although good in all other respects, couldn't be angled properly and had to be held.

I have stayed at a couple of other hotels in Ostend on several occasions. This was my first visit to De HofKamers and was totally satisfactory. I shall use this hotel again when visiting Ostend. The paid parking is in the public underground car park near to the Post Office, it is well secure and not bad at 12E per day.

We liked the central location, the size, and the friendliness and helpfulness of the owners and the staff. Nothing was too much trouble. The rooms were comfortable and quiet, and the breakfasts were excellent. We liked everything and will certainly book there again.

The Staff were friendly and helpful. The area was peaceful even though it was very near the Town Centre, Having Friends in Oostende we used the hotel as a base and for bed and breakfast it was very comfortable and our 16 year old son had a single room next door to us which was also very comfortable.

Good, quiet hotel, close to the casino and other places of intrest. Clean room, good bed and excellent breakfast

It's a very nice and cosy hotel with an exellent location and a friendly staff. -and a very nice 'watch-dog' ! The room was nice and the bed was comfortable. Breakfast was also very good. If we come back to Oostende someday we would like to stay in this hotel again!

Having found this hotel I am a little worried about saying just how good it is because when we go to ostende again we might not get a room,Great place to stay,Very clean rooms,Breakfast was more than adequate,Very close to the shops and bars and the park..

Staff and accomodation 5star all the way...will definitely return to this place and highly recommend it for all. Make sure you book the room with the 4 poster bed and balcony with excellent view of beach

the breakfast, the location

the stink smell from the old water pipes inside the wardrobe;during our stay (4 nights) they did't change the bedsheet and change the towels only after we inssist; one of the window has an old glass split and nobody fix it even we ask for it
