Right in the heart of the city’s new business district, the Thon Hotel Brussels City Centre provides a warm atmosphere in its Norwegian-style, 4-star property. Though dedicated to business travellers, the hotel is also suitable for a relaxing break.

This ideal location ensures excellent transport links via the metro with the Thalys, Eurostar and TGV trains, as well as the European Institutions (5 – 10 minutes). Right next to the biggest shopping centre and at walking distance from the famous Grand Place, you can easily explore this bustling capital.

After a pleasant day, you can unwind in the wonderful fitness room, sauna and solarium on the top floor, while looking out over lively Brussels.

Thon Hotel Brussels City Centre is a 4-star hotel that offers infrastructure in keeping with both requirements of business travellers and tourists alike.

The hotel possesses 14 function rooms of which the largest one has a capacity of 400 persons in a theatre style.

For a refreshing Belgian beer or a quick bite, come to the Spitsbergen bar and lounge.

A unique feature is the amazing top floor dedicated to the relaxation centre complete with fitness room, sun beds and sauna, with panoramic views of the city.

Food & beverage

Descend into the lobby filled with comfortable furnishings, which lead to the atmospheric Spitsbergen bar and lounge, for food and a drink, a game of pool or to taste the large choice of Belgian beers. A relaxing end of your day in cosy surroundings!

The large breakfast buffet will be served in the Cap Nord restaurant that can welcome up to 400 people. The possibility of half or full board stay is also offered to you.

Non-allergic rooms with wooden floors and rooms specially adapted for disabled guests are available on request, as are smoking and non-smoking rooms.

Located in the heart of this beautiful European capital, the hotel complex gives direct entrance to the Rogier underground station for easy access to both business and tourist areas of the city (4 stops to the European Community offices; 7 km from the Heysel Park; 5 stops to the Avenue Louise; one stop to tours and taxis).

This is a modern high rise hotel, the only one like it we stayed at during our 3 weeks in the EU.

The room was advertised as "superior double". It was in fact just an ordinary double room. Both rooms we stayed in (separated by 7 floors) were hot and humid even though the temperature outside was cool and we had the air conditioning on full cool, windows cannot be opened. Both couples slept poorly. The staff were cool and not friendly. The res.stated Belgian cookies would be given, not true.

Probably it was some kind of tourist group which was kind of laud up to very late night on the same floor. Tv remote control did not work on the first evening, but it was improved when reported to the staff.

It should be close as soon as possible and huge inprovements should be done

Quet room, excellent layout with working desk, and chair for relaxing as well. Bathroom also very functional and spacious. I did not eat in the hotel, so cannot comment on that. Excellent access to metro and train stations, and neighborhod had plentiful cafes and restaurants. In short it is a large and functional hotel that serves both business and tourists reasonably well.

I favor hotels that include breakfast in the room rate (even if the room rate is slightly higher), and this one did not do so.

Standards have slipped since changing hands from The Tulip. Slow checking in, bathroom lacking sink plkugs, curtains falling down at one end etc etcr

Check in and check out two long. Only two persons over busy with others requests than welcoming clients. I found services/facilities fair and not good at it should be.

The internet in the room was not working and reported to reception but nothing was done about it. Tried to get in formation about a tour in Brussells but the recption staff were not interested.

Hotel very central and a metro station right outside so easy to get around and from the airport/train station with luggage

Only one pillow each - would have liked two - other than that very good.
